Mary Burnham, AIA
- MARY BURNHAM,
a native New Yorker, has practiced architecture for over 25 years. Her design sensibility and mastery of color and light are influenced, in part, by her experience as an accomplished painter. Mary's conviction is that design is an integrated endeavor where the lines of architecture, interior design and landscape design blur and overlap.
Mary's work includes design of educational, residential, and commercial projects and she has a strong background in institutional planning. Along with receiving numerous design awards, many of Mary’s projects have been widely featured in design publications. In addition to her architectural work, Mary oversees the interior design division of the firm.
Mary graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Art & Architectural History, and received her Master of Architecture degree from the Yale University School of Architecture where she received the Robert Allen Ward Scholarship Fund. She has taught at Yale University.
