  • HAROLD BUTTRICK, FAIA has a career in architecture that spans over 45 years. His work includes a broad spectrum of projects including religious buildings, park structures, educational buildings, airport hangers and residential, retail and commercial projects. He has a strong interest in civic architecture and the urban context.

    Harry is recognized professionally not only for his new buildings, but also for his technical knowledge and historic preservation expertise. His professional accomplishments are reflected in the numerous awards recognizing design excellence and an active list of loyal and repeat clients.

    Harry began his career as a sole practitioner and his firm grew to become Buttrick White and Burtis, where he practiced until forming Murphy Burnham & Buttrick in 1998. Harry received both his Bachelor and his Master of Architecture degrees from Harvard University.
