Fiyel Levent, IIDA

Fiyel has a deep love for designing custom details, installations and furnishings that put the finishing touches on architectural projects. Before joining MBB, Fiyel ran her own design studio as well an interiors partnership for seven years. She has licensed her designs for a variety of products including light fixtures, fabric patterns and paper goods.  As the senior interior designer at MBB Architects, Fiyel is involved in furniture and material selections, procurement, coordination and execution for all of MBB's interiors projects.

Fiyel holds a Bachelors in Architecture from The Cooper Union and a Masters in Creative Writing and Literature from The University of Edinburgh. She has been the recipient of The Deborah J. Norden Travel Grant from The Architectural League of New York and The Stewardson Keefe LeBrun Travel Grant from The Center for Architecture, enabling her to travel through Andalucia in Spain and along the Northern Silk Road to photograph the architecture. She has served on design juries at The Cooper Union, Parsons, SVA and Rensselaer, and has given a TEDx talk about her travels.
