Mathias Sant'Anna

Mathias is interested in the intersection of illustration and graphic design with architecture as a medium to convey ideas. In the past he has worked on the development of drawings and diagrams for several architectural competitions. At MBB, he employs these skills to develop architectural representations of projects including Diller Quaile Music School, Park Avenue Synagogue and Rodeph Sholom School.

Mathias holds a Master of Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture Planning and Preservation. Upon graduation he was awarded the University’s highest distinction of Honors for Excellence in Design in recognition for the work developed during his program. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Urbanism at Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil after a year of study at Technische Universität München in Germany.
