Nyssa Sherazee, AIA, LEED AP BD+C

Nyssa is interested in the interaction between people and the built environment, particularly the role of architecture in child development and education. At MBB she works on institutional projects including the Park Avenue Synagogue and Brooklyn Heights Montessori School.

She was a Team Leader for the 2018 AIA National Conference on Architecture Day of Service, and led a project with Edible Schoolyard NYC at PS 007 in Harlem. She is also a member of the AIA NY Women in Architecture Committee. Nyssa was selected to receive the 2018 Harry Buttrick Travel Award Grant and will be traveling to study the architecture of Korea.

Passionate about sustainability, Nyssa is a member of the MBB Zero Waste Challenge team, helping to guide our office towards waste reduction and increased recycling. 

Nyssa holds a Master of Architecture from Columbia University's Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation and a Bachelor of Science from The University of Texas at Austin. Nyssa joined MBB in 2015.
