This penthouse occupies two floors and a round corner turret in a cast iron loft building on Sixth Avenue. The apartment is organized around an oak-paneled core containing storage and circulation that is surrounded by bright, generously glazed living spaces. These spaces in turn open onto large roof terraces on both the north and east sides of the building. Fan coil units below the existing windows were replaced with radiant floor heating, allowing for floor-to-ceiling glazing between living spaces and expansive terraces.
