The Peter Jay Sharp Volunteer House is dedicated to supporting volunteer gardeners who play a significant role in maintaining and enhancing the natural landscape of Riverside Park. The building includes a multi-use classroom, an area for plant propagation, tool storage and staging areas for large volunteer events. Conceived as a landscape "folly," the three-story, sustainably designed building retains, at its base, a pre-existing 19th century limestone park structure.
