The 12,000-square-foot Visitor Center serves as the departure point for tours of Rutgers University. Serving 35,000 visitors annually, the facility offers a wide range of information about the University's history, academic programs, and campus life, using a variety of physical and mixed-media interactive displays. The floor-to-ceiling glazing along the public circulation path is shielded by sun screens that reduce summer heat gain while admitting light and warmth during the winter months. The building is certified LEED Silver Equivalent.
