MBB Architects is seeking a creative architect to join our diverse, design-focused architecture firm in New York City. We are an award-winning, women-owned, interdisciplinary team of 25 people including architects, planners, sustainability specialists and interior designers. Our mission is to design beautiful, responsive, and meaningful environments to enrich people’s lives and shape a sustainable future.
Established in 1998 as Murphy Burnham & Buttrick Architects LLP, we work across diverse typologies and scales with tested design strategies that support wellbeing and advance environmental goals. We are a collaborative practice driven by a shared vision of inclusive and sustainable design, technical innovation and rigorous, research-driven decision-making. Serving clients with the highest level of professionalism, we employ advanced design and construction technologies while maintaining a contextual, human-centered approach to architecture.

We are looking for individuals with a degree in architecture, exceptional design skills and a minimum of one to three years postgraduate experience including REVIT/BIM experience. We value team members with strong verbal and graphic communication skills, the enthusiasm, and ideas to contribute to design dialogue and the determination to continue to interrogate and improve on design. Our collaborative environment relies on designers who work well with a team.

For the position, MBB offers a salary range of $55,000.00 – $65,000.00 and will be commensurate with experience. MBB also offers a range of benefits, including health insurance, 401K retirement plan, flexible spending account, and professional membership fees.
