Interior Design Materials Library Interns
Back to CultureMBB is seeking a part-time interior design intern to join our diverse, design-focused architecture firm in New York City. We are looking for individuals who are currently enrolled or recently matriculated in an interior design degree program. The position is a paid internship and offers exposure to materials and product knowledge, design decision making technical documentation, sustainability exposure and vendor and industry relationships.

Internship Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Organize and maintain the physical materials library (finishes, samples, binders, catalogs)
- Label, catalog and store materials by firm standards
- Remove outdated, damaged, or discontinued samples
- Maintain cleanliness and accessibility of the library space
- Maintain up to date vendor contact lists
- Coordinate with manufacturer representatives for new samples and updated catalogs
- Communicate discontinued products or substitutions to project team.
We are looking for the following qualifications:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Revit is a plus.
- Experience with Rhino is a plus.
- Experience with Enscape and rendering is a plus.

The internship will be ongoing, with a commitment of 5-10 hours per week, start and end dates are negotiable. For the position, MBB offers an hourly rate of $15-$20 commensurate with experience. The position is a Part-time in-office position and does not include benefits.
