Emily Doris is committed to creating architecture that is both innovative and contextually grounded. Experienced in developing design concepts through construction documentation and detailing, she enjoys collaborating with clients and colleagues to ensure successful project outcomes.
Her project experience at MBB includes The Spence School expansion project as well as a public branch library renovation and several planning studies. Prior to joining MBB in 2025, she worked for architecture firms in Philadelphia on a variety of education, cultural, and residential design projects. Her professional experience includes the design and detailing of a law school library’s common spaces, construction administration and fabrication of residential interiors, and 3D modeling of a K-12 school renovation. She also served as a design volunteer with Community Design Collaborative, where she helped reimagine a vacant lot in Kensington into a public park as part of the Esperanza Health Center master plan.
A graduate of Drexel University’s Bachelor of Architecture program, Emily has built her career on a lifelong passion for art and design. She views architecture not only as problem-solving, but also as storytelling: shaping space, light, and material into experiences that resonate with people and their environment.
