Fiyel Levent

IIDA

Fiyel Levent has a deep love for designing custom details, installations and furnishings that put the finishing touches on architectural projects. Before joining MBB, Fiyel ran her own design studio and an interiors partnership for seven years. She has licensed her designs for a variety of products including light fixtures, fabric patterns and paper goods. As the Senior Interior Designer at MBB, Fiyel is involved in furniture and material selections, procurement, coordination and execution for MBB’s interiors projects.

Fiyel holds a Bachelor of Architecture from The Cooper Union and a Master of Creative Writing and Literature from The University of Edinburgh. She is a recipient of The Deborah J. Norden Travel Grant from The Architectural League of New York and The Stewardson Keefe LeBrun Travel Grant from The Center for Architecture, which enabled her to travel through Andalucia in Spain and along the Northern Silk Road to photograph the architecture. She has served on design juries at The Cooper Union, Parsons, SVA and Rensselaer, and has given a TEDx talk about her travels.

Fiyel is a member of the Commercial Interior Design Association (IIDA). She joined Murphy Burnham & Buttrick in 2017.
