Hans recently joined MBB as a designer. While in graduate school, his travels to East Asia enabled him to discover a profound sense of meaning embedded in the narratives of the built environment. Well-versed in history, visual representation, fabrication, and parametric design, Hans employs his skills to design meaningful spaces and experiences that can create new stories.
Hans attended the New Jersey Institute of Technology, earning his Bachelor of Architecture degree. He was awarded the Comprehensive Studio Award upon graduation. A 2019 graduate of Columbia University with a Master’s in Advanced Architectural Design, he is the recipient of the Lucille Smyser Lowenfish Memorial Prize, awarded annually to the graduate student with the most outstanding portfolio of work.
