Naomi Mareschal

Designer | LEED GA

Born and raised in New Orleans, Naomi’s introduction to architecture came at a very young age. Her interest in design ignited in a trailer parked on her front lawn as she watched her house get rebuilt from the ground up after a hurricane. Traveling through volunteer work and studies abroad has also allowed her to experience built works from a myriad of cultures, showing her the importance of keeping users at the forefront of the design process.

Before joining MBB, Naomi graduated summa cum laude with Honors from Louisiana State University, earning a Bachelor’s in Architecture and minors in Interior Design, Architecture History, and Construction Management. Through her thesis where she studied the impact of ephemeral architecture specifically on the aspect of providing shelter within disaster zones, she uncovered her desire to pursue sustainable and humanitarian efforts within the field. Naomi is passionate about all aspects of design that allow architecture to leave an imprint on its users rather than the earth, integrating ideas of sustainability, user experience, and community interaction with every project.
