Tracy Eteh-Benissan

Designer
She/Her/Hers

Tracy Eteh-Benissan applies her architectural design skills to make an impact on people’s lives. A Bronx native of Togolese descent, she is driven to create welcoming spaces for people of all means. Her interests in public and civic design are rooted in her experiences growing up in New York City and understanding the importance of access to community spaces.

Tracy’s design experience at MBB includes numerous educational and cultural projects such as the Spence Lower School expansion, Grace Church School, Sutton Place Synagogue renovations, Williams College Lawrence Hall Programming Study, a ground-up building for NYC Department of Parks and Recreation, and restoration of the Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum. Her versatile space planning and graphic communication skills enable her to support all stages of design from planning through construction documentation.

A graduate of Howard University’s M.Arch program, Tracy conducted thesis research on community support spaces in the Sheridan neighborhood of the Bronx, culminating in her design for a new community center. Tracy received the Cornell Future Architect Award in 2017 and joined MBB in 2023.
