Vanessa Poe designs spaces that invite people to connect with each other and their surroundings. Inspired by architecture’s human impact, they enjoy working with clients and communities to craft thoughtful, inclusive environments. They tackle intricate details while integrating all facets into a cohesive whole.

Vanessa’s MBB project experience includes a new ground-up multipurpose campus center at Notre Dame Academy of Staten Island, adaptive reuse of the DeGraw Firehouse in Brooklyn for the Noel Pointer Foundation Community Music School, NYC Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, Bryn Mawr College student spaces, Martha Graham Dance Center, and planning studies for several religious organizations. They are passionate about designing spaces where community can flourish. Bringing technical acumen and clear communication to every project, they enjoy collaborating with stakeholders, consultants and contractors to bring ideas to fruition.

A graduate of Syracuse University School of Architecture, Vanessa is an advocate for equitable design for all users including queer, disabled, and people of color. Their multi-cultural background informs the way they relate to diverse collaborators and constituents.
