MBB received a 2007 Lucy G. Moses Preservation Award for our work on the New York University Getty Grant Historic Preservation Plan.

Funded by a Getty Heritage Grant, MBB worked with New York University and preservationists Higgins & Quasebarth to evaluate the historical significance and condition of over 100 of NYU’s historic buildings on its Washington Square Park, Manhattan campus. MBB also made recommendations for preserving, maintaining, and renewing these buildings in a culturally responsible manner.

The Lucy G. Moses Awards are the New York Landmarks Conservancy’s highest honors for outstanding preservation efforts, named for a dedicated New Yorker whose generosity benefited the City for more than 50 years. MBB Architects is honored to receive this award for our NYU campus preservation plan.
