
Driven to elevate human experience through architecture, Tommy Kim embraces both the pragmatic and visionary angles of design. He leads teams to uncover new possibilities and solve complex, real-world design problems.
Building trust with clients, subconsultants, and contractors, Tommy keeps projects on track from design through construction. He brings thoughtful communication, technical expertise, and precise documentation skills to all his work at MBB. His wide-ranging project management and design experience includes projects for Ascend Public Charter Schools, Success Academy Offices, Sutton Place Synagogue, Martha Graham Dance Company, Congregation Beth Elohim, and Trinity Church NYC, among other institutions.
Tommy is a licensed architect in the District of Columbia and holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Virginia Tech. He joined MBB in 2022 and was promoted to Associate in 2026. A dedicated mentor and team leader, he participates in MBB’s mentorship programs with the Architectural League, City Tech, and NOMA.
